For us, India is a very important place for growth, not just for talented engineers or innovations, but for many years to come. We think India will be crucial in the next 15 to 18 years. That’s why Kumarasamy told BW Business world, ‘We want to be a part of India’s growth story.
Today, Fulcrum has a Global Delivery Center (GDC) in Pune, India. They do lots of important things there, like helping with business platforms, digital engineering, cloud stuff, giving advice, and managing engineering services.
Even though Fulcrum is in New Jersey, the Pune center is super important for their worldwide work, and they even have a special hub for cool AI stuff!
India is a big part of Fulcrum’s team, with 70-72 percent of all their workers here. They have people from both Pune and Mumbai offices. For the smart ideas and special things they make, 80 percent of the work is done in India.

According to a study by EY-iMocha, India has 16% of the world’s tech talent. That’s almost the same as Europe with 16%, but a bit less than the United States with 20%.
The study also found that people are using more and more tech tools, which makes tech skills more complex in different job areas. So, now we have ‘Power’ software developers, ‘Power’ IT engineers, and business ‘Power’ users for certain jobs.
Around the world, 81% of companies say that there aren’t enough ‘power user/developer‘ ICT skills. And guess what? 14% of companies think there might be even fewer of these skills in the next 3-5 years.
But don’t worry! Fulcrum Digital is doing something about it. They make sure their staff gets trained and retrained to meet the changing needs. And guess what else? They’ve been investing in AI since 2020!

Fulcrum Digital uses AI tools to create code, which makes things easier for their engineers and programmers. They have been doing this for a while, “Using AI tools is necessary.” It doesn’t make sense to rewrite code that’s already written. AI can do lots of repetitive and basic code, saving time and effort.
Fulcrum has been helping its clients by using AI-based solutions to solve business problems. They worked together with their customers and found around 12 different ways AI could be helpful. Then they made examples to show how it works in the past few months.
This helped Fulcrum create a model that they now use to make AI solutions. For example, their food management software can predict how much food will be sold in the next four weeks!
Fulcrum Digital keeps working on more ways to use AI in their areas of knowledge, like insurance and finance.
